The twist top handle, base plate and riser and riser rail are all made of magnesium to be lightweight and support accessories, 15mm rods and lens adaptors, like the PL to MFT adaptor.
The GH5 Cage Kit product design features an updated top handle riser rail to allow room for the Panasonic XLR adaptor and features the same twist handle from the A7II cage kit [MOV-303-2407]. The cage itself offers a solution for supporting the Metabones MFT to EF lens adaptor right out of the box. The new kit is also compatible with the Universal LWS line of accessories from Movcam.
